Visakha G
Junior Program Associate
Visakha G is a Junior Program Associate with the Energy Program at WRI India. She works in the Energy for Equitable Development pillar, where her work entails research and analysis about energy access interventions in the health, livelihoods, and education sectors.
She was also an intern with the same team at WRI India prior to joining full-time, wherein she researched on clean cooking and assisted with other projects. Visakha has more than two years of internship experience with organizations like Swaniti Global and Raisina House, among others, where she contributed to a wide range of projects that focused on social impact, energy and climate policy.
She holds a master’s in development studies from IIT Guwahati and a bachelor’s in international relations.
Visakha is interested in energy/environmental economics, social impact, and quantitative research. In her free time, she likes to read, play badminton and watch football, movies, and anime. She also enjoys learning new languages.
