Subhadeep Bhattacharjee works as a Program Associate with WRI India, where he is chiefly associated with the Station Access and Mobility Program (STAMP), which addresses issues related to multi-modal integration and commuter experience. His work mainly involves running in-house accelerator programs, enabling cohorts pilot their projects, working on relevant research pieces, and leading government-partner engagements.

Previously, Subhadeep worked with LEA Associates as a consultant to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), where he focused on updating the Comprehensive Transportation Study for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. He has also worked with L&T Infrastructure Engineering Limited as a transport planner for the Comprehensive Mobility Plan in Pune, and has interned at the Directorate of Urban Land Transport (DULT) in Bengaluru on the Parking Action Plan for Indiranagar. Subhadeep has always been fascinated with the multi-faceted aspects of urban planning and aims at enabling on-ground impact through his work.

He completed his engineering from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai and holds a postgraduate degree in urban and regional planning, with a major in transportation planning, from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. Subhadeep completed a postgraduate diploma in data science from IIIT-Bengaluru.

Subhadeep enjoys Hindi music and follows his interest in poetry by expressing his thoughts as poems.
