Soham Kshirsagar is a Program Associate at the Sustainable Cities & Transport program at WRI India. He works with Electric Mobility team and is based out of Mumbai office. He is currently working on zero emission mobility and fuel cell research, looking at applications mainly directed towards the sustainable transport segment.

Prior to joining WRI India, Soham worked at The Association for Renewable Energy and Clean Technology (REA) in London, United Kingdom, looking at hydrogen’s cross-sectoral applications, mainly focussing on heavy transport end and domestic and industrial heating. During his time at the universities in the UK, he also worked in the waste management sector, looking at organic waste’s applications in the agricultural sector and the concept of circular economy, specifically in the area of North Wales. Alongside his professional experience within the environmental sector, he has also worked in the retail sector for four years in the British and German retail giants, ASDA and Lidl GB.

Soham holds a Master of Science in Climate Change: Environment, Science and Policy from King’s College London, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Environmental Management from Bangor University, United Kingdom.

In his leisure time, Soham loves to read and discuss global affairs with like-minded folks. He also loves to meet people from different nationalities and understand their cultures and habits.
