Program Manager – Restoration Planning and Implementation
Saeed Reza is the Program Manager for Restoration, Planning, and Implementation within the Food, Land, and Water program at WRI India. Based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, he leads engagement and policy-level discussions with various stakeholders on WRI-led Landscape Restoration programs.
Saeed brings 12.5 years of experience in leading Rural Development projects, specializing in Watershed Management, Local Self-Governance initiatives (MGNREGA, GPDP, VDP, NSAP), and livelihood development programs (Micro Lift Irrigation, Horticulture). He is proficient in AutoCAD and skilled in project estimation, with experience in civil and structural works, community engagement, and capacity building. He also has hands-on experience in Social Audits and Program Audits. Throughout his career, Saeed has collaborated with District Administrations, Government Departments, CSR initiatives, and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) across Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh.
Saeed holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University and is trained in planning and managing the Integrated Watershed Management Program (IWMP) from the National Institute of Rural Development, Hyderabad.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing chess and badminton, travelling, and cooking.
