Rohit Lahoti
Program Manager - Urban Development
Rohit Lahoti is a Program Manager with the Cities team at WRI India, where he works on projects related to urban climate resilience, air quality, and streets and mobility, aiming to foster more integrated practices.
Before joining WRI India, Rohit was part of the Government Consulting team at EY, working with the Urban Development Department of the Maharashtra Government. His work has focused on participatory urban governance, policy analysis, and program implementation. He has researched informal housing, street vending, and land tenure, and has co-founded the voluntary platform, Centre for Inclusive Habitat.
Rohit is a Commonwealth Scholar and holds an MSc in Urban Development Planning from the Bartlett Development Planning Unit, University College London, along with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from VNIT Nagpur.
In his free time, Rohit enjoys documentary photography, reading non-fiction, live sketching, and traveling.
