Riddhi is a Program Associate with the Electric Mobility team in the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. She is currently working with the Electric Bus team, supporting Public Transport Agencies for the deployment of electric buses and related charging infrastructure by providing technical support and assistance and preparing a strategy framework.

Riddhi’s experience includes working as an architect at Concept Architects and Planners, Bhopal, for two years where she worked on various private and government projects of varying scales in the architectural and urban planning fields. During her post-graduation, she did her Directed Research Project (Research Thesis) on ‘Charging Infrastructure Planning for Electric Vehicles in Bhopal’ and assisted in research (as an intern) on ‘Impacts of COVID-19 on Urban Mobility Pattern’ for the city of Bhopal under the Center of Excellence in Urban Transport (CoE-UT), CRDF, CEPT University (for both research works).

Riddhi holds a master’s in Planning with specialization in Urban Transport Systems from CEPT University, Ahmedabad and bachelor’s in Architecture from the School of Architecture, Vadodara Design Academy, Vadodara at Gujarat University. Her interests include operations and planning of public transport systems, integrated transport and multi-modal hubs, road safety and electric mobility in the urban mobility space. She is also interested in exploring vernacular and sustainable buildings, construction techniques. She aspires to work in the field of sustainable urban mobility and construction, working for a better society & environment.

In her free time, Riddhi likes to spend time with her family and friends. She likes fostering pets and kitchen gardening. She likes watching movies and TV shows, travelling, cycling, and going for long walks.
