Priyanka Sulkhlan
Program Manager – TransportPriyanka works with the Cities and Transport team in Delhi, for the Streets For All program at WRI India. She will be joining existing initiatives such as Raahgiri, PBS and car-free day in various cities in India, and also creating new ideas like tactical Urbanism to promote inclusive community engagement and sustainable transport, with the focus of claiming public space by developing permanent infrastructure. She will be contributing her expertise in urban design while assisting the team in transforming and expanding the program.
Priyanka has prior experience in architecture with private firms in Delhi NCR. She then studied urban design as a tool to explore urbanism. She has worked with a government organization focusing on community engagement, designing, site analysis and report making for an Urban Village and Public Art Master Plan. She has also been an active freelancer and worked for Local Area development plan in the submission for the Bhagalpur and Muzaffarpur smart city mission.
Priyanka holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from DCRUST Murthal, located in the outskirts of Delhi and a Masters degree in Architecture, Urban Design from CEPT University Ahmedabad. She was one of the invitees in the OFIX international exchange program sponsored by Mr. Tadao Ando, October 2013.
She likes to dance and loves traveling. Her goal in life is to discover new capabilities within.
