Mimansha Singh is a Program Associate for Food Loss and Waste in the Food, Land, and Water program at WRI India. She brings over three years of experience in managing development projects focused on enhancing livelihood opportunities for women and farmers.

Before joining WRI India, Mimansha led the implementation of Project Excel at Friends of Women’s World Banking (FWWB) India, a CSR initiative by Nayara Energy in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Based in Gujarat, the project aimed to strengthen agricultural value chains and promote women’s entrepreneurship through farmer training, collective mobilization, and capacity building. At the Jharkhand State Livelihoods Promotion Society (JSLPS), she worked closely with self-help groups (SHGs) and community-based organizations to foster entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and sustainable development.

Mimansha holds a Master’s degree in Development from Azim Premji University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). Her academic foundation, paired with hands-on experience, allows her to design impactful, sustainable interventions at the community level.

In her free time, Mimansha enjoys traveling, cooking, doodling, and nurturing indoor green spaces as a passionate plant lover.
