Krittika Basu is part of the Legal Team under the Operations function at WRI India, where she manages legal matters across the organization, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal guidelines. Her core responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, advising stakeholders on legal concerns, managing external counsel, protecting the organization’s brand, and supporting compliance and risk management efforts.

Prior to joining WRI India, Krittika served as an In-House Counsel at Mahindra & Mahindra for five years, specializing in litigation. She has also worked with Thomson Reuters and completed internships with various law firms, corporates, and independent litigators, gaining broad-based experience across legal domains.

Krittika holds a five-year integrated law degree from Mumbai. She completed her schooling in Bangalore and Delhi, experiences that helped her build a strong academic foundation and develop a well-rounded, culturally adaptive outlook.

Outside of work, Krittika is passionate about painting and exploring new destinations. She is actively involved in animal rescue efforts and enjoys reading across genres to deepen her perspectives.
