Krishan Gopal Sharma is a manager, for WRI India and collaborates with the Government of Rajasthan to manage stakeholder engagements and develop energy models related to the state's energy transition initiatives.

Prior to this he has 12 years of experience and worked with Conigital Group, Ingenero, Shyam Metallic and Energy Limited and ITC Ltd, delivering digital energy products that create real value for customers and contribute to the sustainable development goals. He led and supported multiple projects in India, UK (Innovate UK) and Europe that involved modelling, planning, and implementing energy efficiency, demand response, and smart grid solutions.

He is an electrical engineering graduate (Honor’s Degree) and holds a master’s degree in Renewable Energy (Gold Medalist) MNIT, Jaipur.
