Iranna Koppad is a Junior Program Associate – Electric Mobility with the Sustainable Cities and Transport team at WRI India. His work focuses on data collection and analysis, technical research related to policies and stakeholder engagement and consultations.

Prior to joining WRI India, he interned at the Directorate of Urban Land Transport (DULT), Government of Karnataka, working on the 'Cycles4Change Challenge, Bengaluru' project. Iranna has also worked as a Street Lab Fellow at Sensing Local Foundation, where he played a pivotal role in two sustainable mobility projects initiated by DULT: Walkable Malleswaram and Complete Streets Doddanekundi.

Iranna holds a master's degree in Transportation Engineering from MVJ College of Engineering, Bengaluru, and completed his master's dissertation on 'Developing Pedestrian Quality-of-Service for Mid-block Pedestrian Crossing' at the National Transportation Planning and Research Centre, Government of Kerala. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Reva University, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Iranna actively engages in professional development coursework, regularly practices yoga, occasionally embarks on hiking excursions, and enjoys swimming and cycling as part of his leisure activities.
