Harsha Meenawat is the Head for Energy and Development at WRI India. Her focus is on policy analysis and research for equitable development through clean energy transitions in India.

Prior to joining WRI, Harsha worked with one of India’s largest infrastructure financing companies in a policy advisory and strategy role. She also worked with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), researching on issues of energy and environmental governance. She has authored book chapters, reports and journal articles on energy access, environmental governance and climate adaptation.

Harsha holds a Masters’ in Public Policy from National University of Singapore and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from NMIMS University Mumbai. She is based out of the New Delhi office.
