Dewal Mishra is a Program Manager - Transport with the Sustainable Cities and Transport team at WRI India. Based out of the central Indian city of Indore, he works in the public transport domain and currently assists Indore city Special Purpose Vehicle Atal Indore City transport services Ltd (SPV AICTSL) and Dewas Municipal corporation officers as an advisor.

Before joining WRI India, Dewal worked as a Project Manager for a private enterprise where he overlooked the successful deployment of Inventory Management System and system integrator for Bhopal city SPV Bhopal City Link Limited (BCLL). He has also worked as a research associate for Atal Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis where he coordinated with the MP state secretariat for various government scheme related research projects.

He holds a Ph.D from BITS Pilani where his research focused on accessibility to public transport systems. He also holds a Master’s in Transportation Engineering from BITS Pilani and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from RGPV University.

During his free time Dewal enjoys playing badminton and strategy video games.
