Bhavay is a Senior Program Manager - Air Quality at WRI India. He looks after research and analysis, stakeholder engagement, outreach support and implementation of projects related to betterment of air quality in India.

Prior to joining WRI, Bhavay has had varied experience, be it business development, project coordination, stakeholder engagement in different domains of environment sector such as biomass, solid waste, waste-water and air quality management. He developed a blueprint of a Hybrid air quality monitoring network. He worked in one of India’s largest cement industries and looked after co-processing projects. He led a project on utilization of carbon black in cement industry. He worked at the grass root level, networking with private organizations, government bodies, NGOs, communities, and industries.

Bhavay holds a Master’s degree in Natural Resources Management from TERI University, Delhi. Bhavay used to play interdepartmental cricket tournaments in his college days. He does cycling at regular intervals, plays different sports with his friends. In his leisure time, he plays pc games with his brother.
