Baalaji Ravichandran is a Project Associate for the Energy Program at WRI India. His primary area of work revolves around new energy technologies, primarily wind energy, focusing on up-and-coming green technologies to achieve smoother clean energy transition across India.

Prior to joining WRI India, Baalaji worked as a Wind Energy Professional at Siemens Gamesa and Vestas. Baalaji has completed his master’s degree in Computational Mechanics from Universität Duisburg-Essen, Germany. He holds a B.E in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai.

Coming from Chennai, Baalaji is a massive fan of sport club franchises, Arsenal FC and Chennai Super Kings and his hobbies are gaming, anime, gastronomy, travel, and podcasting.
