Avinash Dubedi is Program Head, Transport with the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. Here, he leads various research and project initiatives on public transport and transport data analytics at the national and state levels. His area of work includes public transport planning, e-bus planning, electric mobility, and transport data analytics.

Avinash has over 15 years of experience in the transport planning domain. Prior to joining WRI India he was working as a Transport Planner with DIMTS, where he was responsible to lead and manage transport planning, public transport planning, travel demand modelling and risk assessment in public private partnership infrastructure projects. In the past, Avinash also worked with SP Infra, Frischmann Prabhu, Feedback Ventures and Godrej & Boyce.

Avinash holds a master’s in Civil Engineering from IIT Kanpur with a specialization in Transportation Engineering and a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Mumbai University. In his leisure time Avinash enjoys travelling, watching sports, and listening to music.
