Arun Manohar
Senior Program Associate
Arun Manohar is an architect and researcher with a decade of experience, specializing in the regeneration of land banks and blue-green infrastructure. Over the past six years, he has focused on urban research and development, with particular attention to regeneration, rewilding, and Nature-based Solutions (NbS).
Before joining WRI India, Arun worked as a senior researcher at Dhun Life, a 500-acre regenerative habitat near Jaipur, where he was responsible for designing sustainable and resilient living environments.
Born in Coimbatore and connected to the cultural heritage of Madurai, he has a strong appreciation for Indian culture and aesthetics. His interests include fragrances, Cholan architecture, South Asian narratives, and the anthropology of places.
Arun holds a master's degree from the University of Westminster, London. In his leisure time, he enjoys a well-made Negroni and listening to Sufi music.
