Aprajita Verma serves as a Senior Program Associate within the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. Her work focuses on providing evidence-based research insights to support the adoption of electric vehicle (EV)-friendly policies and regulations.

Aprajita has contributed significantly to projects and publications related to public service delivery, responsive governance, and socio-economic development. Her professional journey includes roles at institutions such as the Centre for Policy Research (CPR), Factly, and the Department of Planning, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Educationally, Aprajita holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and a master’s degree in Public Policy and Governance from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Beyond her work, she finds joy in watching thrillers, cooking, and playing chess.
