Anupama Sivan is the Director (Strategy and PMEL) in the Executive Office at WRI India. She coordinates processes to develop, refresh, and communicate institutional strategy. She also leads the Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (PMEL) practice and acts as a liaison between the Executive Office, programs, and core functions to enable collaboration and institutional development.

Anupama brings over a decade of experience in the non-profit sector. Before rejoining WRI India, where she previously led the Operations team, she worked with Azim Premji Philanthropy in a grantmaking and management role, supporting organizations that serve vulnerable communities and individuals.

She holds academic training in Microbiology and Biochemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and has research experience from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai.
