Anshula Menon is a Program Manager at with the Cities team at WRI India, where she is working at the intersection of cities and climate. She has worked on developing climate action plans for cities in Maharashtra- Nashik, Solapur and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. She is also working on state level projects with the Government of Maharashtra to accelerate climate action through capacity building, project development and innovative financing. At the national level, she is involved in developing solutions and accelerating finance for adaptation and resilience projects in Indian cities.

Prior to her current role at WRI India, she was part of the team that prepared the Master Plan for Delhi, 2041 as an enabling document that focuses on policy provisions for the future growth of Delhi. This includes spatial development strategies and action plans for the city. She was also part of the research team that published a manual on Local Area Planning for Transit Oriented Development, a guidebook for Indian cities, ratified by the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, GoI.

Anshula holds a master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning from CEPT University and bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Goa College of Architecture. Outside of her professional engagements, Anshula enjoys reading non-fiction, being outdoors and doing yoga.
